Ever since Misty was a little girl, she had a deep love and passion for animals. She has always enjoyed the ways that animals communicate with humans and with one another. After many years, Misty was finally able to make her dream come true. In 2021, Misty and her fiance, Mike, opened Misty Fields Pet Resort, an in-home pet daycare and boarding facility.
Our Core Mission:
To provide care, affection, learning, and fun for animals. To help shelter pets find good homes. To educate people so they can have a better relationship with their pets. To have community input to continuously improve our processes so we have what our clients what the most for the furry ones.

Our Property
Nestled in the country, Misty Fields Pet Resort sits on 9-acres in Perry, Michigan. Misty Fields Pet Resort has an abundance of fresh air and green fields for your furbaby to enjoy. Here’s a glimpse of what our property looks like:
Outdoors:
9 acres of property along with a home and barn built in 1846
4 horse pastures - one of which is dedicated for doggos to run!
80x80 6ft fenced-in play yard
30x30 fenced-in play/potty yard
7 kennel runs within the barn
Kennel room (converted from an old milking room!)
Kennels are 5x6, guillotine doors open to the outdoor 5x10 kennels. All kennels have Kuranda raised dog beds.
Inside our home:
5,500 sq ft including a basement and walk-up attic
2 dog den rooms with different sized “dens” for downtime/mealtime
